January 2016 ~ Aaron’s House partnered with Dr. Melissa Bailey of Bailey Psychology Group, and Dr. Bailey became the Licensed Clinical Psychologist who facilitates the support groups for caregivers of those diagnosed with bipolar depression and any type of chronic mental illness; the first support group was held January 16, 2016, they are currently ongoing;

February 2016 ~ participated in the Neilsen’s Community Outreach Expo for 2016, and distributed pamphlets and other written material on mental health to Neilsen’s employees as well as spoke with employees that were experiencing mental health issues, and directed them to Aaron’s House;

May 27, 2016 ~ Inaugural Fundraiser where the keynote speaker was actress Angela Robinson who plays “Veronica” on Tyler Perry’s hit television show “The Haves and the Have Nots”. Ms. Robinson, the aunt of Aaron Keith Robinson, who the foundation is named after, encouraged those who struggle with mental illness to not suffer in silence, and to get the help that is available to them;

September 2016 through January 2017 ~ Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) created by Aaron’s House were launched on social media and YouTube featuring various actors and mental health experts giving tips, information, and advice regarding mental health issues;

October 16, 2016 ~ received a Certificate of Recognition from Unity in the Community for community service participation;

January and April 2017 ~ held Garage Sales to raise funds for the foundation in furtherance if its mission;

May 7, 2017 ~ Aaron’s House 2nd Annual Fundraiser. Keynote speaker was former NFL player for the Dallas Cowboys and The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and two-time super bowl winner Kenneth Gant, he spoke on how he overcame depression with prayer and counseling at the urgence of Coach Tony Dungy;
- June 2017 ~ Aaron’s House along with the caregivers it serves donated 100’s of toiletries to the Coffee Shop, which is a facility ran by Grace Point where the homeless can enjoy a cup of coffee, take a shower, wash clothing, and use the computers and telephones to keep in touch with loved ones;

October 17, 2017~ hosted “ A Night of Classy Fun & Laughter” where five (5) local comedians performed and raised money for the cause;

November 7, 2017 ~ Yoga Instructor and real estate mogul Jenn Davita instructed caregivers on how to breathe and do different exercises to help relieve stress; she gifted them with vials of lavender oil which helps relax the mind and body.

December 6, 2017 ~ Caregivers were treated to Cheesecake Factory for an end of the year dinner.

April 2018 ~ Aaron’s House “Adopted A Resident” Grace Point opened a 300+ unit for residents with disabilities. Aaron’s House furnished an apartment with all of the essential items for the bathroom, kitchen, living room, and bedroom as well as decorated the apartment so the new resident moved into a completely furnished apartment;

April 20, 2018 ~ Aaron’s House founder, Pamela Robinson attended a seminar “Mental Health Matters” sponsored by the AKA sorority and spoke on bipolar/disorder and Aaron’s House.

May 6, 2018 ~ Aaron’s House 3rd Annual Fundraiser wherein Nine (9) local trailblazers and legends were recognized and honored for their great service to the community; the legends were given certificates and plaques;

August 4, 2018 ~ Bowling for caregivers and their loved ones at Pin Chasers Mid-Town Bowling Alley.
- December 3, 2018 ~ Aaron’s House facilitated a Town Hall Meeting to educate the public and caregivers on what to do when law enforcement is called in to assist a loved one experiencing a mental crisis. The panelist was composed of Public Defender Julianne Holt and 2 staff members, and Dr. Melissa Bailey of Aaron’s House.
